The meet information for the Maine Summer Championships to be hosted at the Canada Games Aquatic Centre in Saint John, New Brunswick from July 25 - 27 is now posted.

At the MSI Awards/Hall of Fame Banquet on May 4, the Coach of the Year, Assitant Coach of the Year, and the Volunteer of the Year were announced. Jay Morissette of Long reach Swim Club (Bath YMCA) won his 4th Coach of the Year Award Tom Greeen of Casco Bay YMCA won his 1st Assistant Coach of the Year. Marie Weferling was named the Volunteer of the Year for Maine Swimming for her numerous contributions to the organization.

The May Madness Meet will now be held, Sunday, May 19. Meet information and the event file are now posted.

The Maine Swimming Hall of Fame and Awards Banquet will be held on May 4 at the Green Ladle in Lewiston. The cost is $23 for adults and is free to all swimmers/children under the age of 18. Awards for the top 8 at a Winter Champs will be presented as well Coach/Assistant Coach of the Year and the Volunteer of the Year.
