Omaha, NE – The America’s Swim Team photo mosaic is complete and is now on display in the Aqua Zone for the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team Trials in Omaha, Neb. More than 3,000 swimmers from across the country sent in photos for the mosaic. It will hang in in the Aqua Zone for the duration of Trials, and then it will be sent to London to be displayed in the housing of America’s Swim Team. Three of the 3,000 swimmers are from Maine. Piscataway, NJ – At the 2012 Berkeley Aquatic Club’s Twentieth Annual Memorial Day Invitational on May 26-27, 2012, Laura Flewelling of Coastal Maine Aquatics broke the Girl’s Open 200 LCM Breast, with a time of 2:41.34. Richmond, VA – In 2008, Myrtha teamed with USA Swimming and the Omaha Sports Commission to bring the sport of swimming to the next level. Over the course of 16 days, Myrtha constructed two 50-meter Olympic-sized pools inside Omaha’s renowned Qwest Center, turning the state-of-the-art facility into a world-class swimming arena.
