At the BOD meeting last night, the Board voted to retroactively include 50 meter and yard records for all age groups. These records will be a work in progress. Please email any historicaly (pre-2003) times or non-USA times to Mary Ellen at meswimoffice@gmail.com

The Bowdoin Open Meet Information and the meet event file now posted. The Bowdoin Open is also solicting bids for the concesssions, t-shirts sales and other meet merchandise.

All meetings will take place at Preble Hall on the campus of Southern Maine Community College in South Portland. Preble Hall is building 36 on this campus map. Please park in the visitors parking lot accessed on Arboretum Drive, which is between buildings 1 and 17.

The Club Leadership & Business Management School will begin @5:00pm and conclude at @9:00pm this Friday night at Southern Maine Community College. Weekend Schedule

The Portland YMCA Polar Bears have acheived Level 1 Club Recognition Status. The Polar Bears are the 8th team in Maine Swimming to reach this status.

MSI will be holding a Board of Director's Meeting on Friday, September 5 from 6:00 - 8:00pm at the Bath YMCA. The agenda is attached for the meeting. If you have any questions please email Tom Manduca and Fritz Homans. All invited to come but participation is limited to BOD members unless called upon. I have also attached the flyer on the weekend of Sept 26 - 28. More info will be available at the BOD meeting on Friday night regarding hotel and dinner arrangements for Saturday evening, Sept 27.

At a meeting on July 7 with Maine Swimming (MSI), New England Swimming (NES) and USA Swimming it was decided that MSI would not host a Swim Posium this year but would hold one in the Fall of 2015. MSI athletes, parents, officials & coaches are invited to attend the clinics at the NES Swim Posium to be held at the Boston Marriott in Newton MA on October 4. There will also be a Club Leadership and Business Management school 201 as well along with Club Recognition workshop.

There will be multiple meetings the weekend of September 26 - 28 in South Portland at Southern Maine Community College. On Friday there will be USA Swimming's Club Leadership & Business Management School 201, on Saturday there will the Session 2 of the MSI Leadership & Planning and on Sunday there will a Coaches meeting followed by the Fall House of Delegates Meeting.
